More on Nutrition as it relates to Exercise

One of the main reasons for the topic of my show this past Wednesday was due to the fact that I have recently been active and participating in triathlons. I have been working out and competing consistently for about 6 months now but not once have I sat down and developed a nutrition game plan to ensure that my workouts and races are as effective as possible. We often get busy in our day-to-day lives and forget about the details. This is what happened to me with regarsd to nutrition and more specifically how it affected my workouts. When you are working out be mindful of how your body is feeling and if you have a workout journal (shich you should) record not only how you are feeling but what you ate prior to your workout if anything. This will help you develop an effective game plan that will ensure that you have enough energy throughout your workout and beyond. I hope you enjoy the podcast.
