We recently had Bill Walsh, speaker, business coach and venture capitalist on the 5 Tracks of Wealth show. Bill shared insights about his event that he did here in Salt Lake City as well as gave some ideas and tips on what we can do to succeed in today’s economy.
Success in today’s economy takes a new way of thinking for people. Bill states that, “We don’t need motivation, we need education.” In today’s market it now comes down to learning the tools and systems for what it takes to succeed.
In addition to education, another powerful tool is networking and building your network. Bill shared info about his Vision To Wealth program that brings millionaires and billionaires together to network at these events with the attendees so that individuals can learn from them on what they have done to stay successful. Bill asks the question that if you were able to talk with highly successful individuals on a regular basis, would you be successful? The answer of course, is yes.
Some of the other success tips that Bill gave were to shift your mindset and keep yourself thinking forward on what you can do to create more value in the marketplace. He also talks about having a passion for what you do as well as continue to build great relationships.
